Trentino-Südtirol zählt zu den ältesten Weinregionen Europas. Heute umfasst es ca. 12.800 ha Rebfläche. Während im Trentino große Genossenschaften den Markt prägen, steht Südtirol für außergewöhnlich hohe Qualität. Nach internationalen Reben rücken wieder autochthone Sorten wie Gewürztraminer, Lagrein, Vernatsch und Teroldego in den Fokus.
